This oshogatsu, my House and some friends prepared osechi, comprising daidai, kagami mochi, ikura, kamaboko, yellowtail teriyaki, shishito peppers, butter hotate, datemaki, kobumaki, kuri, tazukuri, namasu, kuromame, kazunoko, ebi no umani, kikka kabu, su renkon, tataki gobo, nishime, ozoni, unagi chirashi, and raindrop cakes. Thanksgiving 2025. Cran-pari negroni sbagliato, sous vide turkey, orange and pistachio cranberry sauce, leek and shiitake jasmine rice bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey jus gras, green bean casserole chaat w/ tamarind and cilantro mint chutneys, apple and mustard brussels sprouts slaw, pumpkin-style corn pie, raspberry and blackberry pie. 👇
